BESPOKE FOOTWEAR

Authentic bespoke footwear must be made from a custom built last of your foot. The shoe last was traditionally made or adapted to your foot by taking measurements using foot tracings, measuring tapes and then hand carved. This rarely occurs today due to the time and cost involved and inaccuracies associated with the measurements.

In November 2009 Alex travelled to Europe, where he sourced the latest in 3D foot scanning technology. The 3D scanner is used to produce a computer generated model of your entire foot and lower leg.
